Occupation: Locomotive Fireman.
Place of accident: Barry Station Yard, Glamorgan.
Injury: Sustained a blow to the head, was knocked from the engine on to the track, where he was run over by the engine and died.
Details of accident: Williams was the Fireman on the 07.15 passenger service from Barry to Cardiff. Whilst preparing coal for the fire he was hit on the head by the moving load-guage. The shock knocked him from the engine and on to the track where his legs were run over by the moving engine and he died.
