Other papers: Letter from G T Goodenough of Shoreham requesting a remission of sentence for Peter Gibson. States that the crime was to conduct a sham trial against the prosecutor who had tried to engage in an unnatural act whilst sharing a bed in a lodging house.
Letter from Reverend Benjamin Sandford of Farningham requesting remittance of the sentence, stating that the prisoner had transgressed through compassion, ignorance and inadvertence.
