Folios 208-209: Hugh Pigot, Deal. He says two letters referred to in his letter were written by Mr Barton, a local grocer enclosing a letter written by Lieutenant George Pierson.
Folios 210-211: Enclosure to folios 208-209: Lieutenant George Pierson, 188 Lower Street, Deal. The letter authorises Mr Barton to apply to the Navy for half the lieutenant's pay.
