Folios 172-173: Hugh Pigot, HMS Ramillies, The Downs. He reports that Lieutenant George Jackson who joined his ship on 12 July 1828 did so in a poor state of health and has been confined to the sick list for 10 weeks. Now though convalescent he is unable to perform his duties and so Captain Pigot asks for an officer to supersede him.
