Two cuttings attached to the front of two extracts from 'Locomotive Magazine', 14 March 1903, 'The GER [Great Eastern Railway J Holden 0-10-0WT locomotive No 20] 'Decapod' with brief notes and a monochrome photographic image in works photographic grey livery, 3 January 1903 page 5, 'The Great Eastern Ultimatum' with technical details, dimensions and a drawing of the left side of the locomotive, 28 March 1903 pages 211-12, 'The Great Eastern Railway 'Decapod'' with further technical details including drawings of the outside and inside cylinder connecting rods, and 18th April 1903 pages 259-61, 'Acceleration Trials on the Great Eastern Railway', giving details of the recording apparatus and other equipment introduced for the trials at Chadwell Heath, Essex in 1903 and with a monochrome photographic image of 'Decapod' fitted with indicator shelters for the trials.
