Two cuttings [from 'The Railway Magazine' October 1939 page 297], 'The Great Eastern 'Decapod'', J Holden 0-10-0WT locomotive No 20 'Decapod', one giving further details from G A Sekon on the operation of the inside connectiing rod and from F T Rogers on the brief use of 'Decapod' as a 0-10-0 tender locomotive before it was fully rebuilt as a 0-8-0 tender locomotive and the second cutting showing a monochrome photographic image of the locomotive's three connecting rods, the middle / inside one of which has an opening within which the leading axle rotated.
