Two extracts from 'Stephenson Locomotive Society Journal' December 1952 pages 328-30, 'Britain's First Ten-coupled Engine' by W O Skeat MILocoE, article on the Great Eastern Railway J Holden locomotive No 20 built in 1902 as 0-10-0WT and rebuilt in 1906 as an 0-8-0 tender locomotive, and pages 321-22, monochrome photographic image by R A Smith of the Stratford Works [Essex] Drawing Office with caption, 'The GER [Great Eastern Railway] 'Decapod' No 20', three quarter right side and front view of the locomotive in the last stages of construction with the cylinder lagging, running plate and safety valve casings still to be added, and monochrome photographic image by K A C R Nunn with caption, 'The GER 'Decapod' Final Form, GER No 20 at March [Isle of Ely] 27 April 1912, three quarter right side view of the locomotive as rebuilt.
