Folios 189-190: Philip Pipon, HMS Daphne at Yarmouth Roads. Reports that he has successfully carried out his orders to take the Honourable Major General Alexander Hope and his suite to Gottenburg, where they arrived on 4 February, and to wait for him to bring him home again, which he did on the 10th February. Adds that on his way 'up the Sleeve' he did not fall in with any of the cruizers belonging to the Battle squadron, and that those remaining on the Station were directed by Captain Wilkinson of HMS Courageux to proceed to England.
