Folios 176-177: Jocelyn Percy, Captain, HMS Hotspur at Spithead. Thomas Smith deserted from HMS La Nymphe at Lisbon, but in what manner he returned to her I do not recollect. His second entry on the ships books will mention the prize money that was made in HMS La Nymphe whilst under my command in September 1809 when he was on board the ship.
