Folio 136: Charles George Rodney Phillott, Commander, HMS Primrose. A report of two boys, and progress made in their trades, under the Carpenter, and Sailmaker, of HMS Primrose. (Details - Peter Turel, Boy 2nd Class, employed under the Carpenter can plane, saw and has begun to use the adze. John Hardcastle, Boy 2nd Class, employed under the Sailmaker and Captain of the Main Top, can seam, table, and work eyelet holes, can also go aloft knot and splice.
