This small paper book would appear to record the allocation of auditors and the issue of writs during the twenty-ninth year of the reign of Henry VI, relating both to grants of taxation and other matters.

The book is relatively confused, and is clearly an internal Exchequer document designed to assist the auditing process rather than to record the precise details, and no figures or other financial details are included.
