This is the account of the abbot and convent of Hulton, collectors of the second of two clerical tenths granted to Henry V in 1415, for the archdeaconry of Stafford in the diocese of Coventry and Lichfield, by their fellow monk and attorney John Knyghtley.

The document is undated, but refers to the enrolment of the appointment of the attorney among the Exchequer memoranda for Hilary term 1420, and so must have been created at some point at the beginning of that year or afterwards.
