This series consists of correspondence and papers which deal with research and development, concerning all northern establishments of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority. Subjects covered include reactor component development, fuel development, instrument development, reactor design, plant design, rig and experimental engineering, tribology, materials assessment and physics, metallurgy, chemistry, design offices, quality production, standards, specifications, planning and plant maintenance. It also includes a series of reports by the Windscale Instrument and Engineering Departments.
