To: The Local Government Act Office.
From: Joseph Davies, The Old Warps, Warrington [Lancashire].
Subject Matter: Letter returning a copy of a notice of a forthcoming inquiry at Warrington along with a certificate that such notices have been duly posted on all churches, chapels, and other public places in the Borough.
The inquiry is to be held by Robert Rawlinson on 1 June 1869 into the alleged default of the Town Council in enforcing the smoke consuming clauses of the Sanitary Act 1866.
