To: The General Board of Health.
From: Edward Strick, Clerk to the Swansea Local Board of Health, Swansea [Glamorganshire].
Subject Matter: Letter advising that the Board of Ordnance have completed the triangulation of the District of Swansea, and Mr Gant, Surveyor to the Local Board, is now about to begin a detailed survey. He asks for permission on behalf of the Local Board to borrow £1200, which is the estimated cost of the triangulation and survey. He asks for guidance if a more formal application is required.
