To: The General Board of Health.
From: Captain William Yolland, Ordnance Map Office, Southampton [Hampshire].
Subject Matter: Letter acknowledging receipt of a letter of 15 January 1851 and advising that orders have been sent for the immediate commencement of the triangulation necessary for a survey of the District of Swansea [Glamorganshire]. However, he states that until the boundaries of the proposed survey are known by the Office, it is impossible to state when the work may be completed.
