To: Lieutenant Colonel Hall, [Ordnance Map Office], Southampton [Hampshire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter applying for an estimate of the probable cost of a survey and block plan of the Borough of Swansea [Glamorganshire], containing 5400 acres, to the scale of two feet to the mile, as well as a block or street plan of the town portion of the Borough, containing 250 acres, to the scale of 10 feet to the mile. Hall is asked how long it may take to produce such a survey.
