Appeal from the Vice Admiralty Court of Gibraltar.
Captured ship: Francis, previously Hume (master August Caesar Le Gentil).
History: a French privateer (10 carriage guns, 36 men); taken on 29 October 1747 in latitude 43º by the privateer Admiral Blake (William Wainwright commanding), and brought into Lisbon.
Manuscript appeal papers.
