Prisoner name: James Faggetter.

Court and date of trial: Old Bailey December Sessions 1827.

Crime: Burglary in the premises of Mr Imeson a tobacconist in Shoreditch [London].

Initial sentence: Death.

Annotated (Outcome): Considered at Report in Council 5 March 1828.

Petitioner(s): John Freeman of 5 Waterloo Street Saint Luke Old Street [London] clock and watch maker, prisoner's former employer and 26 inhabitants of London.

Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): Honest and upright; out of work; led on by others; offer of employment.
