Recommendation for the mitigation of sentence for selected prisoners on board/in: Discovery.

Thomas Moore aged 24 convicted of stealing stockings at Stafford [Staffordshire] on 15 October 1823. Initial sentence: 7 Years transportation.

Robert Vence aged 25 convicted of stealing wool at Oakham [Rutland] on 16 October 1823. Initial sentence: 7 Years transportation.

Jarvis Streeter aged 56 convicted of stealing carpeting at Newgate on 3 December 1823. Initial sentence: 7 Years transportation.

William Hart aged 23 convicted of poaching at Hertford [Hertfordshire] on 4 December 1823. Initial sentence: 7 Years transportation.

Thomas Talbot aged 22 convicted of stealing wearing apparel at Hertford [Hertfordshire] on 4 December 1823. Initial sentence: 7 Years transportation.

Thomas Barker aged 49 convicted of stealing lead at Hertford [Hertfordshire] on 4 December 1823. Initial sentence: 7 Years transportation. [crossed out].

William Myers aged 38 convicted of stealing 2 sacks of indigo at Leeds [Yorkshire] on 12 January 1824. Initial sentence: 7 Years transportation.

Edward Harris aged 41 convicted of poaching at Shrewsbury [Shropshire] on 13 January 1824. Initial sentence: 7 Years transportation.
