Recommendation for the mitigation of sentence for selected prisoners on board/in: Leviathan.

John Wales aged 21 convicted at Bury St Edmonds [Suffolk] of rape on 24 March 1820. Initial sentence: transportation for life commuted to transportation for 14 years on 3 July 1827.

H Brownfelt aged 45 convicted at York of arson on 14 March 1820. Initial sentence: transportation for life commuted to transportation for 14 years on 3 July 1827. [crossed out].

Charles King aged 18 convicted of felony at the Old Bailey on 23 October 1820. Initial sentence: transportation for life commuted to transportation for 14 years on 3 July 1827.
