They include files of the Radiochemical Centre at Amersham, which was run as an out-station of Harwell, 1950 to 1971. Other files are of the Harwell Directorate, and its Chemical Engineering Division, Chemistry Technology Division, Health Physics and Medical Division, Personnel Department, Radiological Protection Division and the Safety Secretariat.
