Captured ship: Elizabeth Catharina (master Arend Cornelisen).
History: a Swedish merchant ship, bound [north-about] from Cette to Le Havre, laden with wine; taken in [April] 1747 by the privateer Cumberland (Henry Cooper commanding), and brought into Dover.
Manuscript appeal papers.
