Description

Envelope mounted on reverse of divider card item 44 containing five postcards:

1) Colour tinted postcard published by Martin Brothers, Market Place, Saxmundham [East Suffolk] with The RAP Company Ltd, London with printed caption on front, 'Railway Station Saxmundham', exterior view of main station building and forecourt with two cars and a horse and cart [image c.1905], 9cm x 14cm.

2) Monochrome postcard published by Martin Brothers, Market Place, Saxmundham [East Suffolk] with The RAP Company Ltd, London with printed caption on front, 'Albion Street, Saxmundham', view across the level crossing and along the street with railway water tower on the left [image c.1910], 9cm x 14cm.

3) Monochrome postcard published by Raphael Tuck and Sons in 'Real Photograph' series with printed caption on front, 'Albion Street, Saxmundham [East Suffolk]', exterior view of main station building and forecourt and view across the level crossing and along the street [image c.1930], same item as ZSPC 11/528/46/4, 9cm x 14cm.

4) Monochrome postcard published by A and G Taylor in the 'Reality Series' No SK516 with printed caption on front, 'Saxmundham [East Suffolk] Station' internal view of the station from one platform across the level crossing to the other with the signal box and water tower on the right and an unidentified J Holden Class T26 or unrebuilt T19 locomotive beyond the level crossing [image c.1900], 9cm x 14cm.

5) Monochrome postcard with printed caption on front, 'Station Road, Halesworth [East Suffolk]', external view across level crossing with main station buildings on the left [image c.1905], 9cm x 14cm.
