Description

Envelope mounted on reverse of divider card item 29 with typed caption, 'Mainline I: Cambridge and Norwich and Cromer' containing photographic images of stations and other locations on the Great Eastern Railway mainlines:

1) Monochrome photograph with manuscript caption on reverse, 'LNER [London and North Eastern Railway] GE [Great Eastern] Section Norwich Victoria Station Exterior 23 April 1933 [by then solely a goods station]' and number 4715, 9cm x11cm.

2) Monochrome postcard published by F Moore's Railway Photographs No 4121 with manuscript caption on reverse, 'Cambridge GER [Great Eastern Railway] South End of Station', showing the bay platforms used for Great Northern Railway and London and North Western Railway trains and with GER J Holden rebuilt class T19 4-4-0 No 707 in the locomotive dock [image c.1920], 9cm x 14cm.

3) Monochrome postcard with printed caption on front, 'Brimsdown Station [Middlesex] GER [Great Eastern Railway]' [image c.1910], 9cm x 14cm.
