Two cuttings from 'The Railway Magazine' [December 1954 frontispiece opposite page 810 and page 812], monochrome photographic image from a photograph by K A C R Nunn with printed caption underneath, 'From York to London by the Great Eastern', showing the 10.25am train from York hauled by 2-4-0 locomotive No 770 [rebuilt J Holden class T19 nicknamed 'Humpty Dumpties'] entering Liverpool Street Station on 7 May 1909, and cutting attached on the reverse giving brief history of the Great Northern and Great Eastern Railway jont line from March, Isle of Ely through Lincolnshire to Doncaster, West Riding of Yorkshire.
