Divider card undated with typed heading on front, 'GER [Great Eastern Railway] and LNER [London and North Eastern Railway] Southend [Essex] Branch Specimen Tickets' and with 4 tickets, sub-items 1-4 mounted on front, and two attached envelopes, items 69-70 on reverse:
1) Card ticket Serial No 0734 GER yellow and white coloured, first class return Southend-on-Sea (printed) to Prittlewell (handwritten), Essex, fare 6d [printed c.1908-1914].
2) Card insurance ticket Serial No 337 blue coloured 'for a single journey on the railway only in a passenger carriage' from Southend, Essex station, price 1d [printed c.1900].
3) Card ticket Serial No 2586 green coloured, LNER, Billericay to Shenfield and Hutton Junction, Essex, third class single fare 6½d [printed c.1930].
4) Card 'Service [Personnel] Military Etc' ticket Serial No 7226 green coloured, LNER, Southend-on Sea for Westcliff and Thorpe Bay [Essex] (printed) to Littlehampton (handwritten), West Sussex via Metropolitan Railway and Southern Railway (handwritten), third class single [printed c.1930].
