Appeal from the Vice-Admiralty Court of Gibraltar.
Captured ship: Appearance: master Andrew Bertilius.
History: a Swedish ship laden with iron bars, wood, hoops etc; taken on 4 August 1745 of Cape St Mary, Portugal, by HMS Dartmouth (John Crookshanks commanding), and brought into Gibraltar.
Manuscript appeal papers.
Appellants: Gaspar Girardo Pilaer and Co, Dutch subjects, and Peter Rodriguez Ferreira Christiano and Francis Stoequeler, Portuguese subjects; appealing against the condemnation of certain goods
