9122. Henry Van Schaack to Carleton. New York. Two documents. The first document is a memorial by Van Schaack that relates that he could not present claims of the Bergen inhabitants while his own memorial was pending. As Major MacKenzie has signified that there is no objection, asks that the memorials with regard to the Bergen disputes be laid before the board. The second document is a copy of marginal notes by General Robertson on Van Schaack's memorial. Discusses giving no orders for the cutting of wood and the complaints of the Bergen people.
