Description

9098. Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Brown, Superintendent of Indian Affairs to Carleton. St Augustine [Number 7]. Has received previous letter relative to the officers of the Indian Department and Indian concerns. Discussion with regard to his remaining in the province and at his station after the removal of the troops, for the safety and security of the inhabitants. Letter noted as having been received 25 September 1783.
