South Asia, west coast: Chart of 'West coast of India - coast of Sindh, Karachi Harbour', with marine engineering plans. Chart shows coastline, hydrography, topography, Manora Point Lighthouse, Napier's obelisk, roads, burial grounds and remarks. Printed. Latitude and longitude, north point indicated. Scale: 10 cables or 1 sea mile to 8 inches. 'Surveyed by Lieutenant A M Grieve, Indian Navy, assisted by Lieutenants Constable and Barker, Messrs De Belin, Stiffe, Macaulay, Clarke, Lambarde and Hyndman, Midn [Midshipmen] Indian Navy, 1854.' Engraved by J & C Walker, 1856. 'Published by John Walker, Geographer to the Hon-able [Honourable] East India Company, 1 August 1856.' Corrected at the Admiralty March 1866. Pencil annotations. Stamped as an 'original' in the Hydrographic Department, Admiralty, 17 March 1891
