Description

Prisoner name: George Worrell.

Prisoner age: 20.

Prisoner occupation: Footman.

Court and date of trial: Sussex Winter Assizes held at Lewes 1827.

Crime: Embezzling 4 £5 bank notes the property of his master, Mr Dowell of Brighton [Sussex].

Initial sentence: 7 years transportation.

Gaoler's report: Character from gaol very indifferent.

Annotated (Outcome): Nil February 7 1828.
