Court and date of trial: Somerset Quarter Sessions held at Wells January 1828.
Crime: As constable of the parish took forcible possession of property in breach of the law which constituted as misdemeanour.
Initial sentence: 6 weeks imprisonment and fine 1 shilling.
Annotated (Outcome): Nil. February 14 1828.
Petitioner(s): 11 inhabitants of Puriton Somerset.
Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): Wife has delicate constitution and pregnant; good character; absence in parish regretted.
