8279. Jacob Hart to Carleton. English Province, New Jersey. Petition. He and his wife have fled from persecution to this city. Have been no expense to the government until the last fall and beg he will grant what they have received for the last three quarters and any additional allowance, as they are determined for Nova Scotia. Accompanied by a certificate from Captain William Van Allen and Captain Lawrence Van Buskirk.
