Grounds for clemency (Petition Details): Respectable family, deceased was abusive and started a fight. Deceased was quarrelsome and profligate character.
Other papers: Document containing depositions from Sarah Winbush, John Berry, John Mottram, H Davis, Thomas Thornton and Job Sidwell stating that Michael Hands, the deceased was drunk and disorderly, and some stating the good character of the petitioner.
