7960. James Hunt, Lieutenant, Garrison Battalion, to [Carleton]. At the request of Major Anstruther he informs that he has two sons, one in Ireland the other in Bermuda. He asks His Excellency to order the five companies be mustered and permit him to return to the island. Lieutenant Dunn, of the battalion. has been stationed in New York to trasact the necessary business. After the musters have been taken, compared, signed and sent here, Lieutenant Dunn can receive the balance due to the five companies on 24 June 1783 if it meets with His Excellency's approval. He has been in service for 25 years and was wounded at German Town.
