7927. Maurice Morgann, New York to George Redhead and John Johnson. In reply to their claims they have made, the Commander-in-Chief intends executing the Treaty of Peace in a most liberal manner adopting its principles in all cases. He hopes and expects the United States, and the individual states, to do likewise.
