Folios 141-143.
To: The General Board of Health.
From: W J Le Feuvre, Southampton [Hampshire].
Subject Matter: Letter acknowledging receipt of a letter dated 14 June 1856. Le Feuvre observes 'with great satisfaction' that the President has sent a copy of his letter of the 2 April to the Southampton Local Board. He encloses a copy of his communication to the Clerk of the Local Board, on the subject of the recovery of expenses for the making of new sewers in various streets, which he addressed to him on the 7 April. Le Feuvre explains that his object is to see that the town is fairly assessed, 'and which, at the present time, I cannot believe to be the case'.
