To: The General Board of Health.
From: E Williams, Alderman, High Street, Southampton [Hampshire].
Subject Matter: Letter enquiring, as Chairman of a meeting of the Ward of St. Michael, Southampton, held early last spring, at which a memorial [petition] to the General Board was signed respecting a proposed improvement in the Ward of St Michael, and on other matters connected with the Local Board of Health of Southampton, whether or not the General Board has come to any, and what, resolution on the subject of the said memorial, which he transmitted to the Board last March. Williams explains that it is intended shortly to hold another Ward meeting, at which it is desirable that the determination of the Board should be made known.
