To: James Sharp, Clerk to the Itchen Floating Bridge and Roads Company, Southampton [Hampshire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter transmitting a copy of the reply of the Southampton Local Board of Health to a communication from the General Board on the subject of the memorial [petition] sent with Sharp's letter of the 31 August 1855. Sharp is advised that the Board have no power to interfere with the case.
