To: The General Board of Health.
From: George Lowther, Clerk to the Selby Local Board, Selby [Yorkshire].
Subject Matter: Letter stating that in consequence of the comparative high cost of gas in the district, both to the public and private consumer, the Selby Local Board are anxious that in the next Public Health Act, powers may be given to Local Boards either to purchase of erect gas works.
