To: George Lowther, Clerk to the Selby Local Board, Selby [Yorkshire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of a letter of the 27 August 1855, enclosing a list of towns or places which up to the present time, under the Public Health Act 1848, have erected and completed their water works. In reply the Board state that these lists furnish the best information on the subject in their possession.
