To: Henry Wrigg, Surveyor, Preston Local Board of Health [Lancashire].
From: The General Board of Health.
Subject Matter: Draft letter acknowledging receipt of Wrigg's letter of 19 June 1851, relating to the memorial [petition] from the ratepayers of the Township of Fishwick to the General Board. The General Board express regret that the letter was not submitted to them before their interview with Mr [Wilson] Patten [MP for North Lancashire]. They suggest that Wilson Patten be present when members of the Local Board have an interview with the General Board next Monday.
