7799. Tunis Brinkerhoff to Carleton. New Town, Long Island. Petition. Is an inhabitant of New Town, and asks for some compensation for damages from some soldiers of Colonel De Lancey's 1st Battalion, New Jersey Volunteers. Hears that these soldiers, who were sent to the Provost, are to embark for the 'Spanish Main'. Countersigned by Daniel Rapelje and Philip Wiley.
