Description

Captured ship: Flax Blossom of Harlingen, master Henricke Rynes.

History: bound from St Martin to the East Sea [Baltic], laden with salt; taken on 7 March 1672 off the Isle of Wight by HMS Gloucester ([John] Holmes commanding) and brought into Portsmouth.
