Captured ship: Jolie of Nantes, otherwise Handsome, master Jean Guilliot or Barry Hensley of Minehead.
History: bound from La Rochelle to Youghal in Ireland, laden with salt, sail canvas and brandy, and manned by 11 English prisoners-of war from Brouage for exchange in Ireland; taken on 17 June 1667 off Scilly by HMS Victoria's Prize [HMS French Victory] (Thomas Scott commanding) and brought into Plymouth.
