Captured ship: King David of Rotterdam, master Cornelis Jansen Harell.
History: bound from Bordeaux to Rotterdam, laden with French wine, brandy, molasses and prunes; taken in December 1664 off the Isle of Wight by HMS Assistance (Zachariah Browne commanding) and brought into Portsmouth.
