Captured ship: Dove or Duif of Rotterdam, master Dirick Harmenson.
History: bound from Rotterdam by way of La Rochelle to Batavia on the orders of the Dutch East India Company, laden with mum [beer ?], cables, lead and victuals for the voyage; taken on 28 November 1664 off Cap de la Hague by HMS Happy Return (James Lambert commanding) and brought into Portsmouth.
