Captured ship: Industry of London, master Nathaniel Grantham.
History: an English ship of 250 tons, bound from Venice via Livorno (Leghorn), and previously Messina, to the Downs, to send on cargo to London, Amsterdam or Hamburg, laden with silks, glass, brimstone, aniseed, almonds etc; seized on 13 May 1672 in the port of Portsmouth to the Lord Admiral's use (after having had men pressed to HM service by HMS Newcastle off Plymouth and more at Spithead).
