History: an English ship, homeward bound from Tangier, via Alicante and Malaga to Hamburg or Amsterdam, laden with Malaga wine, salt and cotton (being returned unsold to England); and came into Portsmouth on 5 May 1672 under convoy of HMS Dreadnought, HMS Dragon and HMS Deptford ketch [and was there seized].
